The End

Well, this is the end of the Evie and Elsa blog as now there are three. The new blog, named after much thought, Evie, Elsa & Jake, is now available at http://evieelsajake.blogspot.com.

4th January 2009. Final entry for this blog. Fittingly, a picture of all the kids. Will update this with the name of the new blog when I create it... Now, he's pretty much just slept so far, but will we get any sleep tonight?????

4th Jan 2009. Jake's arrival marks the end of the evie and elsa blog. New one real soon. Like Elsa, he was born at home in a birth pool. 7 lbs 7 ozs. Born at 8:50 this morning. All went well, mother & baby fine. Evie & Elsa excited.

31st December 2008. Jane dresses up as a bloke for New Year's Eve. As you do. Of course there's no way that Ross, Waigs, Umesh, Mad Mike or Judith would be in drag, or there would be photos...

First Day

2nd September 2008. Evie heads off to her first day in year 1 at school. Elsa seems pleased.

Family Seat

30th July 2008. In the Lakes with their cousins, aunts & uncle.

Lakes Lunch

27th July 2008. On holiday for a week with cousins, grandparents and aunts in Threapland Hall in the Lake District. This is the back garden - there was a wasps nest in the little house but we found it before they found us.

Fit Girls

Walk the Dogs

12th July 2008. Still at Bouncer's farm in Essex. Elsa takes her dog friends for a walk while Mad Mike learns how to carry children.

Featherdown Dog

12 July 2008. At Bouncer's Farm in Essex for a long weekend. This is part of the Featherdown farm franchise - you stay on a farm in fantastic tent like things with a wood burning stove for cooking. There was even an opera in the evening which Evie in particular absolutely loved. Elsa was, as usual, obsessed with all things canine on the farm. Mad Mike, Umesh, Waigwa and Umesh joined us for the weekend. Fab.

Cover Up

28th June 2008. First bed. Elsa's cot gets converted into a bed. She's also now sharing a room with Evie, so of course Evie tries the bed too.

Toothy Smile

25th June 2008. Evie loses her first tooth.

Gang of Youths

20th June 2008. Elsa goes to a toddler group every Friday. Here she is withe her friends Roman, Ruby and Sonia.
