Model Behaviour

18th November 2007. At Madame Tussauds. Hannah and Evie with a guitar 'hero'. Is that the bloke from The Darkness? Whoever it is, Evie looks appropriately revolted.

18th November 2007. At Madame Tussauds. Hannah's dad Nigel works there, so we had a VIP day, skipping the queue, having someone take our coats and seeing the room where all the models are fixed. Excellent. Hannah, her sister Rebecca and her mum Annabel came with us. Annabel used to work here too, so she's one of the models. In fact at the time of writing, if you click on the Madame Tussauds link, you can see Annabel's model in a black and red jacket taking a picture. Anyway, here's Hannah, Evie, Elsa & Ross standing with the legendary Jimi.

Diwali

9th November 2007. A Diwali party at Loutus' house. From the left we have Hannah, Hope, Evie, Lotus & Roman.

Biscuit Painting

31st October 2007. Some friends come round for Hallowe'en, trick or treat, dressing up amnd biscuit painting. Starting with Evie we have, Evie, Sonia, Ruby, Isobel, Elsa & Hope.

Pre-School

Schooliform

11th September 2007. Holiday over and Evie starts school. This is Evie on her way to school for the first time. Historic. She's wearing a schooliform, as Lola from Charlie & Lola calls it.

Rye Smile

7th September 2007. Still on holiday, Elsa enjoys (yes, that expression is one of enjoyment...) a walk around Rye Harbour, another bleak but delightful nature reserve in the area.

Light Wind

6th September 2007. The Old Lighthouse in Dungeness, a wild and woolly place, famous for being an RSPB reserve. Here's Ross, Evie & Elsa at the top of the world.

Cottage Garden

5th September 2007. While on holiday we visit a National Trust place - Smallhythe Place in Tenterden. The home of Ellen Terry, an actress born in 1847 who had a pretty interesting and unconventional life for the time. Here are Evie & Elsa in the garden.

Queens of the Castle

4th September 2007. Camber Sands again. Evie and Elsa admire their castle with the lovely dunes in the background.

Beach Baby

3rd September 2007. An example of the size and emptiness of the beach at Camber Sands. Here's Elsa enjoying the space.

3rd September 2007. Anothe Camber Sands dune shot. The beach was amazing. The kids loved it.

Dune

3rd September 2007. A week's holiday in Camber Sands on the south coast. Taking advantage of Evie's first year at school starting a week or so late, so it's practically deserted. And very lucky with the weather too. This is Evie on one of the hundreds of fabulous dunes.

Wookiee

2nd September 2007. We're on holiday on the south coast and decide to go the the Lydd Airshow. We thought it would be one man and his dog, but in fact it was huge. 25000 people over the weekend! Anyway, here are Evie & Elsa posing with a real live Wookiee. They need to see the films now...
