Dandelion Blowing

14th May 2006. This must be somwhere in the Hastings area, still on the God Monkey weekend. Evie is very keen on dandelion seed dispersion. I can't believe it - this is the 24th picture I've posted tonight. Friday night! Jane's out at a Roddy Frame concert and this is what I'm reduced to. Both girls still asleep though, so in fact, I'm delighted!

Three Monkeys

14th May 2006. Evie with her God Monkeys in Battle near Hastings. I think there was some kind of barney here in the past. The God Monkeys should really upgrade their mobiles.

Three Lions

13th May 2006. Evie has three God Monkeys, Waigs, Mesh & Mike. They bought her an England kit for her birthday so she can watch the World Cup in style. We go away for a long weekend with the God Monkeys every year (well, this is year two), and the cottage this year, near Hastings, was awash with blossom and bluebells. Quite nice if you like that kind of thing.

Breadstick Party

6th May 2006. We waited til Saturday for Evie's birthday party. Excellent fun. Cameo appearance from Elsa in the background and I believe that's Isam in the foreground and Hannah on Evie's left. There were only about seven kids there. It seemed like a lot, lot more...

Birthday Nurse

6th May 2006. Evie models another birthday outfit, this time from her Grandma.

4th May 2006. The birthday girl shows off a birthday dress from Auntie Karen and Uncle Patrick. That's an interstingly positioned windmill in the background, not a hat. Evie's three today!

The Calm Before the Storm

29th April 2006. Still in idyllic Gloucestershire. This photo was taken just before things got slightly less peaceful. First of all, I tried to teach Evie how to climb trees. She did ok until she slid down a tree grazing her chest and stomach. Hmmm. Then she got the aforementioned raisin stuck up her nose at a beer festival (which was really just a pub). Not ideal.

The Early Bird...

29th April 2006. Still with my aunt and uncle in Gloucestershire. Evie is very proud of the worm she has found. She spends a lot of the day gardening with Julian. She loves it.

Hammock

29th April 2006. On the way home from Devon we stop off for a couple of nights at Dee and Ray's in Gloucestershire. An excellent time was had by all, right up until Evie got a raisin stuck up her nose. In fact, that was pretty funny too. Here's Evie in a hammock with my cousin Rachael.

27th April 2006. While on holiday in Devon we met up with Matt & Roz who now live in Somerset. Here's Jane with Elsa and Roz with Xanthe. In a pub with beer. Social services...

Shadowplay

26th April 2006. This is the beach near our cottage in Croyde. We walked down here pretty much every evening, even if we'd spent most of the day on a different beach... Evie admires her shadow.

Beach Babe

24th April 2006. On a fantastic beach on holiday in Devon. This is either Lynton or Lynmouth. Evie and Jane enjoy a paddle while Elsa sleeps off her latest feed. Evie had an absolutely brilliant time on the Devon beaches - there was a good one just 10 minutes walk from our cottage in Croyde.

Living Doll

24th April 2006. On holiday in Lynmouth in Devon. Lovely place. Evie spent ages finding shells. And that's a real baby hanging from the harness, not a rag doll.
